Imagine a Community with no Food Bank.....

-----that was the reality in Brooks not so many years ago.   There was no place to go for help.
It was 1998 when a group of concerned Brooks Citizens recognized a need and came together.  After months of meetings and hours of hard work of these people, along with the support from the Community, the Brooks Food Bank was born.
On September 11, 1998, the Brooks Food Bank was incorporated as a Non Profit Organization to provide the services needed to the residents in the City of Brooks and the County of Newell.
